Interesting project. I had heard the term before but didn't know what a chatelaine was. Now I know & I like it. I might think about making some as gifts for some of my quilting friends. We try to think up unusual things to give each other for Christmas.

Very nice and what a great idea. Thanks for posting, I do believe a few others might be making one for themselves.

I only used it for about an hour and I think this is going to work really well, I should have added another pocket though seeing as I used the thimble pocket for my chap stick, but they kind of work in there together.

If you aren't interested in figuring it out by looking at the pictures, the pattern is in Quiltmaker Issue No. 52, Nov/Dec '96. I will add that the template plastic in the pin cushion pouch is a very good idea.

Really nice! I need 1 because my 2 puppies think if I leave something laying around it's fair game. I've been putting things in a small box but this is much nicer!

I would love to make one. I went to Quiltmaker web site and they don't have 1996 issues available. I also went on Ebay but that issue is not there. Wonder if anyone knows of a tutorial somewhere. Thanks.
