yes I agree on it selling out fast. I definitely have to have this. I went to the South Sea Imports website and saw all the lovely go with fabrics for this pattern and I loved them all. Thought to myself, wow I need to make some extra "pin" money real quick like.

I have until the October 28th to increase my order and still be in time to get all the fabrics in the "first delivery"... meaning, we really WILL get them all and won't have to wait for a second printing.

It requires 3 yards of the floral border print, 2 yards for the fussy-cut floral clusters that are the centers of the blocks, and 1 5/8 yards of the packed floral print that is used for the larger triangles and some of the centers of blocks.
The pink tonal leaf print you'll need 1 3/4 yards of, and 1 5/8 of the tonal green leaf print that's used as the narrow outer border. Plus 1 2/3 yards of the diagonal gladiola stripe on green for an inner border and the binding. It also calls for 5/8 yards of the tossed floral on ecru (diamonds) and 3/4 yards of the green scroll on ivory (tiny patchwork triangles). The instructions call for 3 yards of 110"-wide backing (108" wide would probably be fine too)... or 8 yards of 45" wide fabric for the quilt back.
This pattern would probably look lovely, and quite different, if instead of using the greens, you pulled in the plum purple color in a darker shade. Would add lots of "punch"!

That's kinda what I was thinking. I love purple and would love to incorporate some more into the pattern.
