That is exactly what I wish when I pass, for someone to get my stash.

It is cut in 60 by 60 lengths and I have been using it for backings to Christmas Tree wall hangings right now. I will likely piece it for my charity quilts backing in January

I see a fabulous Christmas quilt with a snugly flannel back....I am sorry about your fellow quilter, but you will do her stash justice.

nice that you will remember her when you use your goodies. I want my sewing buddies to have a party and divide all my yardage stash up first, and then dispose of my cherished scraps and strings and crumbs as they see fit. Lord knows I have enough for many quilters to have fun with. But, for right now--I am still the queen of my stuff, and I share when I can.......my kiddies currently have quilts and there are plenty of them to go around, I'm still waiting for that first grandchild and being able to gift a few baby ones.......sigh, hopefully in my lifetime, until then I just keep going....never enough quilts for me, I love doing them

Sympathy to the family of the quilter that passed on but if she could, she would be smiling to know that another quilter is using her stash. I know I would be.
