The judge felt there should have been more quilting in the center to support the embroidery --- I didn’t want too much quilting in the center because I didn’t want to take away from the flowers. Next time I will use a bit more monofilament thread. His second comment was on the binding. He said the corners on the binding was too thick. I thought the same thing, but it’s made from tapestry material. Next time I know better. This was my first quilt show and being judged so not too bad I think….. :-)
