Thanks for sharing your new sewing room with us. I love to look at everyone's rooms--you get such great ideas!!! Your ruler storage is fantastic. I showed it to my husband and we are now discussing something similar for me. :-) Thanks!!!

Actually, it was pretty easy, and fun, it just took some thought and a several trips to the Ikea Bargain Bin (As Is department).

I do too, that table is the heart of my room. I am so moved by color, that I had to figure out a way to display as much as possible. My first thought was fat quarters in the windows. It didn't take long to realize that was going to be way too much fabric. I rigged up a way to place little snippets of fabric on foam board inserts and popped them in the window recesses. It works great, I get to see the color, and was able to get the 400+ pieces together thanks to my sewing buddy and her huge stash.
