I am so new to quilting, that I can only wish to aspire to such skills as I see with your quilt and of oodles of other women and men on this site. High five lady :-)

Can you please though tell us Which Book you found such a cool pattern? lol I read through all 3 pages and can't believe no one asks, lol, cause we all know we are of the inquiring mind set.

Spectacular quilt! Wohoo - way to go!

melodylamour - the book is "One Block Wonders Encore!" by Maxine Rosenthal & Joy Pelzmann ... have been reading it myself and just purchased fabric I think will make a nice one. Well, had to buy a couple different fabrics - one not so expensive, one pretty expensive so will do a trial run before I cut the really expensive stuff (Kona Bay fabric with wisteria and all its lushious rich colours).

Should also say that this book should carry a health warning 'These Quilts can be Seriously Addictive'!

Your quilt is so beautiful! Congratulations on the great job. I was wondering if you sewed your label on by hand at the end, or did you sew it to the quilt back, and then quilt everything? I want to add a label to my next quilt, and I'm not sure the best way to do it. Thanks for the help!

Wow....great job! Yours is different from others that I've seen..I love the way you kept a piece of the original fabric to show...and your borders...and your quilting...well, heck...its just a darn great quilt!

I love your quilt. The colors are gorgeous. I confess I was not a big fan of OBW until I saw yours. I just changed my mind. :-D
