Now that is what I learned to be a crazy quilt. Love it.

I actually named it "If life gives you scraps...". I just referred to it as scrappy happy.

I grew up sleeping under scrappy quilts, so this brings back fond memories. I love your happy bright scrappy. Thanks for sharing.

What a spectacular way to use up scraps. Great looking quilt. Your borders tie it all together.

I did not use a foundation. If you look closely in the border, you an see the spools and thread and needle. The picture might not be big enough to see it clearly. I just loved it the spools for this particular quilt. It can be done without foundation but before you cut, be sure that you starch the squares before you cut. I did not have problems not using a foundation. It was totally fun! Thanks for your comments and if I were you, I would just jump right in. The only other advise is don't try to match your fabrics because that will make you crazy and they will look fine when they all get together.

It's a good feeling when you know nothing is being wasted or going to land fill. I have a lady I save scraps for who makes dog beds for RSPCA (Animal Shelter).

To me, it looks like a cross between a crazy quilt and a string quilt. Maybe it's a crazy string :>) I love it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
