I've got that one also! It does make it very easy to put together!

Thanks, everybody. I just found a plastic cup that is around the size I need to make the center circle (went through glasses, jars, etc. until I found one that I liked). I'm THINKING of using this block as a table topper (maybe I'll I'll try another new technique and attempt quilt as you go?), and make a more fall-colored quilt next time. I'm just having fun playing around and learning new things. :)

You are inspiring. It is beautiful. Great fabrics. When things are cut accurately it does make it easier to sew accurately

I have tried it and it takes all the guess work out of how big to cut. Thanks for the reminder, I will "have" to get it out and use again soon.

The other cool thing about this tool is that you can use it to piece it a different way - back & forth, just the way you use it to cut the fabric. You can alternate colors, or go scrappy. Thought it may be fun to make a mug rug that way. I'll keep ya posted. :) Hubby & DS went to the cabin for the day, so... when the cat's away... ;)

I love the old fashion, the one that is round off at the top. Am I showing my age ?
