So absolutely stunning. I find your work amazing. We live in mountainous country and see that layering in the rocks and you have made your interpretation just perfect. I also think your interpretation of the running river water is so real.

You are very talented, Mary Katherine ... this landscape quilt is absolutely beautiful. I, too, enjoy making landscape wall art (and have posted a couple on this Q Bd). I wonder if you might share with me your technique for creating "individual" trees? Are they thread painted? Oh, how I wish that I could zoom in on this wonderful piece of art work Kudos to you ... I look forward to seeing more of your quilted landscapes, as you are an inspiration.
