    Default Illusion Quilt

    Hi Guys,

I saw a picture of a quilt similar to this on the internet but it wasn't quite what I wanted so I created exactly what I wanted in EQ8 and stitched it up. I am quite happy with the way it has turned out. Quilted on my Q'nique 15.

This is an astonishing quilt to me. I've never really found a place in my heart for quilts that use only solids (or read-like-solids) because I always thought they would become boring after a while (a little judgemental, I know). What you have managed to create, however, is a work of art that capitalizes on the strength of solids. So innovative and so beautifully pieced and quilted - I know I would never tire of this! Once again, my eyes have been opened by this forum. Thanks so much for sharing. :-)

Gorgeous quilt, and I am amazed by all those perfect points! (Isn't EQ8 great?)
