This is a quilt I made for my Granddaughter for Christmas last year. I use it in my avatar and some here have commented on it and wanted to see some photos. So here they are. All quilting is free motion with my longarm.

Wow - stunning! Is this from a pattern, or did you design it yourself? I've been wanting to attempt a bargello for years, but have just been too intimidated. Just beautiful.

Oh my, no. I didn't even have to choose the colors! It was a kit that I purchased from Keepsake Quilting. It is one of my favorites, and my Granddaughter loved it.

As I told someone else here, it was a kit from Keepsake Quilting. It was my first bargello. I was surprised at how easy it actually was. You should not be intimidated, try it, you'll be happily surprised. The only thing I can offer in the way of tips is "always follow the piecing pattern", even if it seems wrong.....LOL.
