    This is a beautiful quilt. Question for your hand quilting...Do you use a hoop or a frame? I have only done frame quilting on full size quilts. When I tried to do them with a hoop it did not work well for me so I started machine quilting but have a couple found quilt tops that were pieced by one of my Gmas and I want to hand quilt them.

    Size 11 needles are shorter than size 9 needles.

    Really, really like your hand-stitching, Don! It shows up beautifully and certainly enhances the quilt without "interfering with the pattern!
