Gee, think of all the bragging you can do now: "Well, I had a quilt sell for $2,000!!! Aren't I great?"  Okay, you don't need to say, "Aren't I great?", but you should still brag about how much it sold for.

Wow that is a beautiful quilt. You must be very proud to know your hard work brought in that amount of money for the rescue of those dogs.

Bragging can be done because I know how the money will benefits the Airedales. I know how many Airedales are surrendered for many reasons. Every Airedale that comes into rescue, no matter what, he has to see a vet. If we are lucky enough to get his present shot records and he is current, he doesn't have to have the shots again but the vet visit alone is at least $50. Many times, the Airedale will have health issues that have to be met. It won't take long for the money to be spent.
I know the quilt is not worth $2,000. If I had that much to spend, I would spend it for something very close to my heart.
It's all about the dogs.......................

It is a beautiful quilt. I am sure you hated to part with it, but it did bring a good price.
