As I said in my introduction, most of my work over the last 20+ years have been traditional quilts, but recently I've become interested in art quilts. Attached are the three I've finished. The first, "Beach Baby", is an adaptation of a photo of my granddaughter taken at the beach when she was two. The second, "Fractal I: Scheherezade" is a fractal of my own design using UltraFractal software and recreated in fabric. The third, "Driftwood Beach," is a fused, raw-edge applique landscape 18" x 24" which I gave to a friend. I'm presently working on a much larger version which is pieced.

WOW!!! They are gorgeous!!! Someday I will try and learn how to do art quilts. I need to quit working first so I have the time and energy to do it.
Love your work! Thanks for sharing!

Your work is simply beautiful. Art quilting is not something I would even attempt.

Gorgeous. Hard to pick a favorite, but baby at the beach really takes my breath away. Please explain more about the UltraFractal. Looks like an interesting technique.
