This is a big sister doll sized quilt for my friend's granddaughter - I'm making a bigger quilt for the new baby. This one isn't perfect - I have a problem with mitered corners on a double fold binding. But I think I did a good job on the quilting. The pieced back was an idea from Oh Fransson! from the last quilt I made. I think it looks awfully cute here. It's not quite as oddly shaped as it looks in this photo. Phew!!

Great quilt, you did a lovely job.
What size strips do you use for your binding? It looks really narrow, I think I would have a hard time trying to mitre that too. Have you tried a slightly wider strip (I like 2 1/2"strip) It makes the corners much easier.
