    Nice quilt.
    I'd love to do this but I have not been brave enough yet... and that is exactly why,

    as you said: (This is somewhat hard to do, because as the block gets bigger, you have to figure out if you have enough of that small piece of fabric in the stash to be used on all blocks.)

    but this is still on my project list.... Bravo

    A really lovely quilt. I know it is a common block and not too difficult and one I admire yet have never made. Your rendition has made me reconsider. I believe it will be a quilt to make this year 2018.

    Love your idea and really love the way it turned out! Improvisational and also required planning ahead with your scraps. The combination brought great results.
