Love, Love, Love the elephant quilt. It's just adorable. I can see some child loving the heck out of him...Great job on background material and the quilting...
Families are like old quilts....although they tend to unravel at times...each can be stitched back together with love.

Both are wonderful! Love the colors!

Do you have some instructions on how you did the handle on the bag?

No I don't, I just 'winged it' because my bag was getting a bit wonky, so I deliberately made it more wonky and segued that into the handle.

I love your color choices with your rope basket. I've made some and love the process each time I do one. I have to confess that I've bookmarked your elephant quilt and plan to use the idea in some fashion, just not sure how yet. It is absolutely precious. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

You're right, this board is a great source of information and inspiration. I have learned more here than any other quilting source, and been motivated to try things I would never have thought possible if it weren't for the ideas and support found here.

So glad you posted that basket picture. It's gorgeous, and I didn't see the tute. Another "gotta-try" on the list.
