What a precious quilt and a great block. :-) I am a little fried from the first day of school, but I am going to bookmark this and reread your directions when (maybe I should say if) my mind clears up. Thanks for sharing your adorable quilt!

Love this quilt, it looks like the little rockets are floating in space, the black just makes it pop! When I first saw it I thought it was the Nest block on the Moda free pattern page . Similar?

HELLO - THIS IS THE QUILT POLICE!

My orders say to have you send this darling quilt to me!!!!!

Ok - let's see if it worked - if you don't have my addy - just pm me and I will send it to you in a jiffy.

I am going to have to give this block a try. I am pretty adept at undoing stitching, so that part should not be a problem. LOL :P

I'd need a visual--a tutorial to make this one work. Sigh... my head hurts just reading the directions.

I'll just look at this pretty one... and more to come, I hope, and stick to simpler stuff.

Very cute block. The colors of your quilt are very attractive. Thank you for sharing the photos, AND the directions.

The book you mentioned. (yours is much cuter!)

Here is what I found that the book looks like so I can browse for it next time I get to town.

hi saravincent. yes that is the book. i love her ideas. she has such cute blocks, like the tin man block and one that is a single giant elephant block. thanks for posting that pic. i imagine most could find it at the library. they house most of my collection.
