    It looks and feels like a somewhat looser weave than standard quilters cotton. It came out ok with no special treatment before cutting/washing and is nice and soft after washing.

    No, these are heavier weight canvas, but for a wall hanging like this, it's not a big deal.

    This looks very Japanese as it is minimalistic (apparently that is not a word?) and serene. Lovely! Hmmm, my dh has a yukata that is white with blue design on it. You have given me an idea but guess I should ask him about that first.
