Default Interrupted my UFO progress to make these:

While in Ohio, my DGD and I started the skirt, she did all the cutting and laid out the design, I just had to do the sewing after I got home as we ran out of time. She is 9.
The Ohio star is the center panel for a baby boy quilt my daughter requested as a gift for one of her friends so I am getting it done asap so all can be sent before baby arrives in a week or so.
I am getting my new knee on the 23rd of this month so I want to be done with these and with my giant tshirt UFO quilt before then!!! I'll be out of commission for a while.

How cute, it gives me an idea how to use some of my scraps. I am sewing this week for my soon to be three year old DGD.

Very cute. Purchasing fabric online is good therapy for recuperating, in case you weren't aware.

Thanks for sharing. I made that same skirt for my DGD. It is so cute.

Hope all will go well with your knee surgery. Had both of mine replaced plus my hips and I am a new girl! It is worth it.

Very cute skirt! Your granddaughter is going to enjoy wearing it. Good luck with your knee surgery.

I just love the skirt. Will have to consider making one for my granddaughter when she gets older. Thanks
