Thank you all.
I finished the quilt tonight. I ended up using basic white bias tape because the blue satin just over powered it. When I'm not on my phone tomorrow I'll post a picture of it,
I'm so surprised at the difference in the singer and shark. One sounds loud and tired and the other is just wondering along.

I think you're amazing. "Look what I found, a sewing matching. I'll clean it and repair it and just teach myself to sew!" What a lucky niece and nephew! It looks like you're quilting too! What a great example to us all! I can't wait to see what you make.

It looks great for a first quilt. We all improve with the more we make. Check out the section called "For Vintage & Antique Machine Enthusiasts". There are a lot of real smart members that know all about restoring older DSM.
