nicely done, our guild had a class on these irises, they are all so lovely. some of us have finished a quilt, I want to do a mixed flower quilt with mine. I have a floral round robin that I plan to use. translates into another UFO!

Beautiful Irises! I'd call this a "happy" quilt! Love the colors - bright and cheerful. I, too, have not seen a pieced iris before. Love the pattern. Great job and I'm sure your friend will fall in love with this quilt! Thanks for sharing.
