I can tell by the avatars that some of you are fond of iris flowers. These are new from Timeless Treasures.

Which one do you like better? Light or dark?

You only have a picture of the light - but I love it. Beautiful fabric.
Okay - now the dark is there - but I like the light better. More spring like.

Considering that the purple iris is Tennessee's State Flower, I am partial to the purple., but would definitely use both in a quilt... Thanks for showing the new line,.

I would love to get some of the dark iris on black.

can you give me the name of it on the side of the fabric with pattern #, etc.

Those are beautiful. I might have to pick up some yardage of both of those when they come out!!!
I may lean a little more towards the dark because it really sets of the purple and I have several other floral fabrics with the black background. But I would buy both!!!

Oh, the dark, definitely! When I saw the light one, I thought, "Oh, pretty fabric." Then I scrolled down and said, "Wow!! That really pops! Just beautiful!

I love the dark and I would pair it up with light sage green, light yellow and medium green sage. I think it would be beautiful!!!!!!

I like both, and also could see some lovely OBW's coming out of them.

I love all iris varieties because they remind me of my grandma, who bred them(is that the right word for flowers?). I really like the dark and would love to know the name and designer because I would love to get some yardage, probably just to look at, altho a OBW does sound like a good idea. Thanks for sharing :-D

Bred is the right word... I would love to be able to breed a new flower!

This apparently is brand new, as I just saw the pictures on Timeless Treasures' website and I look for new designs at least a couple of times a week. I don't think it's a "designer" offering, as the pattern numbers for those usually start with the designer's name or initials and this one is just "fleur". So I think it's by their in-house design staff (if that's the proper term).

The nice thing about Timeless Treasures, or any of these "non-designer" fabrics is that you never have to worry about licensing or trademark issues, if you're using the fabric to make items that you sell.

Looked up timeless treasures and found out one of my favorite shops supposedly carries their stuff, so will check it out tomorrow. I think I'll get several yards so I have choices!
