Oh! Lucky you! A little trivia here: Did you know that the Bicolor, amoena "Wabash." This cultivar was the Dykes medal winner in 1940, and one of the most popular Irises in the United States.
I too have this Iris, my mother grew this one in the 1940's

OMG! My favorite flower. Mine are up about 5 inches. Cannot wait for the blooms. We had snow the other day. Hope it did not hurt them.

I just planted iris under my brothers tree in his front yard. I can't wait for them to bloom. He doesn't have much yard but what he does have I am filling with flowers.
Now I just have to find a lilac
