Default An Irish Chain

as mentioned in an earlier thread, I managed to crank out a pile of quilts for a friend to give to her grandchildren on Christmas. I didn't get photos of all of them, but this is one of the three Irish Chain quilts I made. Two were from these fabrics. The other one was made using a fabric with puppies printed on it.

she has ten grandsons. I only managed to get nine quilts done altogether. (The oldest grandson will just have to wait until his birthday. LOL)

Many, many thanks, again, to my friend, Debbie. She quilted them all for me or I'd never have gotten any of them done by Christmas.

oh how Cute! I love those fabrics- the animal blocks are so cute and the coordinates are perfect. getting 9 or the 10 done was quite an accomplishment.

Interesting variation on IC, I have only ever seen them done with 9P blocks. I have never seen one done with 4P blocks. Great kids quilt with the animals but definitely am amused at the panda bear as well. Its all good, I am doing an African print quilt right now and snuck in some tiger strip material. Now I know there are as many tigers in Africa as there are Panda bears but it looks good. LOL
