Irish chain top for my MIL

This top is now completed and is going to be quilted for my mother in law. She has seen most of the fabrics but does not know what pattern I picked.

Very nice! Love the Dresden plates inside the squares.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Really gorgeous. Very, very different. I have a lot of those fabrics, but hate to cut them up because they are so pretty. You may have just given me the nudge I need. She's going to love it.

I love Irish Chain but with the Dresdan plates in there, it is extra special. I love how they are placed instead of being in each space.

OMG, I hope your mother-in-law doesn't live in my neighborhood, I'd have to wrestle such a wonderful piece of work out of her grasp. That is splendid!

That is a fabulous combination! I'd never seen it done like that but I love it! And I know your MIL will, too! How very sweet of you to make this for her!
