What a great quilt! I'm glad your partner loves it.

My sewing "room" is in our bedroom too. I've been trying to do a surprise quilt for my husband, but I haven't had a lot of opportunity to work on something without him seeing it. He's just too curious!

That is gorgeous. It actually sparkles in the photo. Even my husband made a comment about it. Now that is unusual.

Behiveof9,

i quilted this on my Janome 7700 and it was a work out. If I only had room to put a table behind the machine and along side it would've been easier. I should have taken to my mom's house and used her long arm, would have been easier and taken less time, but I did this during camping season and mom lives 2 hours north and the trailer is 3 hours south. With the price of gas and doctors appointment, that wasn't feasible. I wanted this done so I could begin my tree of life that I am being paid to make and trying to get that done for Christmas. Try is the operative word.

MissSandra,

the pattern is called Crossroads II. I purchased the pattern at at The Quilters Garden in Fenton Michigan. Carolyn, the owner, designed the pattern. When looking on her website, I did not see the Crossroad II pattern, but did find the Crossroad pattern. If you give her a call she will be more than happy to help you, is is a truly lovely lady. Please let her know that Chuck referred you, she might know me as Chuck and Darrell. Darrell is my quilting buddy and its his fault that I spend a small fortune at her store, she has one of the best supplies of Batiks and is always willing to stop and help each and every customer.

Below is the link to the Crossroad pattern.

Your quilt is absolutely lovely. Love the colors. Beautiful job. I live near A2 and was glad to see reference to another quilt shop. Your partner is a very lucky fellow!
