According to the Singer website, the serial number indicates she was made in 1951. I emailed Singer to get the exact date, but haven't heard back yet. There are several bobbins, wooden spools of thread and she sounds so smooth when I press the pedal foot. I'm going to do a Grandma's fan using 1930's repro fabric once I get her looked at and serviced. I'm so excited, I could hardly stand myself. Thanks everyone for looking and the wonderful comments..

Kathi, Looks just like mine, including the piece of masking tape for a guide!! Mine was my first sewing machine, of my own, got it in 1959.
