I like your idea and also the use of the black office clips to hold your batting to it. I also like the idea of cutting it down if it is possible, the small mats still cost quite a bit to buy, and as long as it works like by your sewing machine or somewhere, it sounds winning to me. :-) Thanks for posting the idea.

The cats are reflected in the mirror. You should go to my post called "Meow". It shows them from the front. Very bright colors.

I'm glad I saw this post. I would have never thought to do this with an old mat. When you don't have a lot of room for a big one, this is perfect. Thanks for the idea.
