i may be wrong but I see not blocks but vertical rows of diagonal strips (each strip ending in a hst) sewn to the length desired, then these pieced strips sewn together to make the body of the quilt....maybe someone else sees it differently?..

That amazes me. I have just started working on scrappies, but they had to be very controlled. Now i'm cutting 3", 4" and 5" squares as well as strips to make some scrappies in the future. The strips will be for strip blocks and I'll sash them with black. Can't wait to finish going through this huge bag of scraps and get started. You did an amazing job.

I love it! How big is the quilt? Squares: 2" to begin with or 2" finished?
