    Hehe, Tartan - I worked on this from the time I made that post yesterday until 3:15 in the morning.... I'm exhausted! But it will be mailed today and for that I'm very thankful! It took me a little longer because I went through all my sewing machine and all were broken! It took 2 different machines to finish this quilt. I also made a trip to the fabric store, only to find out that they didn't have any of the green, so I had to be creative with the border. The border is also acting as binding.

    I like the colors you used. Great job on the applique. I don't know the meaning of the squares....But, it's really pretty Nice detail work.
