It's Finished! A Present for My Mom

Well, I FINALLY finished my Mom's mother's day present. Good thing she's patient! HA! Anyway, I took a Craftsy.com course for Stupendous Stitches and this is the result. Some things I would do differently now, but I learned a lot and I've decided that I do like it. At first I didn't like it at all, but kept going. There is a "secret" message in the piece so I included that picture too. Hopefully the pictures won't be huge...seems like folks are having problems uploading pictures lately.

Anyway, without further ado, presenting the "Not So Mother's Day Present"

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

Nicely done! Did you do the stitch bible before you started? I took the course too and I am looking forward to starting. Your colors are great. Thanks for sharing!
