Thread: It's Tea Time in Tokyo....

    and here is my picture. This pattern is by Marinda Stewart for Michael Miller panel and coordinating fabrics. This is a lot of Firsts for me. I machine appliqued flowers. I free motion embroidered the tree, and the ladies' hair dress and collars. I added texturizing quilting to the grass, and I FMQ'd clouds and water detail. Whew! But it was fun. This is DD's birthday present. I hope she likes it.

    I have to say, you all are the reason I was able to do this. You have been my inspiration and my advisors. I look at all the beautiful quilts shown here, and I read all the great suggestions and you convince me that I can do it too. You give me ideas for things I never considered (like free motion embroidery) and make me want to jump right in. I love you all for making me better.
