I believe you're right. I googled it and found one a little nicer looking in black but without the table. It said that the Dressmaker class 15 (what I'm pretty sure mine is) is an exact clone of a singer model 15. Was this a good machine? The singer I mean??
The Singer 15 models are awesome machines, as are most of the "clones".
However, there was no sewing machine MANUFACTURER named "Dressmaker"....these were machines that were made FOR Dressmaker by either White or Davis.

now just to convince my mom to let me have it...I was planning on asking for a sewing machine...maybe I can have this one (it is free after all) and ask for a floor quilt rack...hmmm the possibilities...
