Size: 384.0 KB Finally finished the quilt I made for my son's girlfriend. I sure hope she likes it because I really want to keep it for myself. I love all the colors and how it turned out. Not bad for my first completely finished quilt I dont think.

Thank you! I always tell people I was raised in a fabric store...lol I spent many a days twirling around on those stools at fabric stores. Instead of looking at comic books, I looked at pattern books. My mother and sister were awesome seamstress. Unfortunately they were never quilters though. Guess we all find our own nitch though. I think I have found mine. I have sewn a few garments but I think i enjoy making quilts much better. Cant wait to start my next quilt. The next one will definately be for me, then I would like to make all my boys and neices and nephews a quilt for Christmas.Whew thats a lot of quilts. Guess this is gonna be a great year!!

I love your quilt. Great job on your first quilt. Is the pattern 'Yellow Brick Road'?
