this is my second attempt, this is a lap quilt I'm doing for a raffle for our volunteer fire dept

It sold for $250.00, I think it would have brought more if I'd been there but I had to work that day ( I work everyday!)

The event brought in $23000.00 even after expenses it will have been a huge sucess

That's a pretty terrific looking quilt. It ought to earn lots for those wonderful volunteers. You're pretty wonderful too giving such a gorgeous quilt away. Kudos for Kathy!

What a cool quilt! I absolutely love the colors and the way the centers of the squares pop out! I am sure it will raise a lot of money. What a cool thing for you to do.

I can do some stitches on mine, but nothing anywhere near as pretty as that. If I get rich by some means, like lottery, I want a new machine with all the bells and whistles. Yours is really prety.

The quilt is beautiful. I'd surely buy tickets for it. I'd sure be interested in how much was raised for the fire dept from this one item. Can you let us know the amount when it's all over? Sara

Oh, Kathy!! That is just awesome!
I hope it brings it tons! I'm sure it will. I don't know anyone that wouldn't love that!

I'm planning on making some purses, totes, pot holders, mini-minis or something for our school's annual fall festival big IF I get time. It's the biggest fund raiser of the year.
