Default Jackson's Thomas quilt almost done!

I think just one more border to go!

I am going to do a wide strip of the dark blue dot that is around each of the trains to finish it off. Then the back is going to be some D9P and maybe the other little Thomas panel in the middle. There is no pattern that I am following, I just wanted to frame the train panels. I think I will make the top and bottom strips a little wider than the sides to make it more of a rectangle.

Jackson is our DGS and he will be three in September. His mom is almost 8 months along with the second one. I wanted something special for him when his mom is in the hospital, and Thomas the train is his favorite toy. I will post a picture when its totaly done. I just need to share this with some one since I can't show his mom, as this is a suprise gift.

Thanks for looking. I love all the support that I find here.

Cute quilt! Where did you find the Thomas fabric? Just wondering because I have a friend who's 3 yr. old son loves Thomas.

That is very cute, my grandson loved Thomas, I made him a Thomas pillow case and he used it until it fell apart. Jackson will love this quilt.

Good job! And a good idea to make a quilt for the 3-year-old. I did the same for a little boy who got a new baby sister and his response was "Is this mine? All mine?".

Great quilt. I really love how you did the sashings. The green gives it a wonderful pop.
