    Jamie's Head Over Heels Quilt

I made this version of Jeannie Smith's Head Over Heels Quilt for my daughter Jamie for Christmas. I used a sueded material for the sashing, a remnant that I had with black and gold flecks that had special meaning to me, and a black with gold fabric on the back. My friend that I met through this board, quilter extraordinaire, Yvonne Berger did simple stippled quilting on it for me, and encouraged me to do some embellishing with crystals. I used them sparingly as Jamie is not a "fru fru" person. I was proud to give it to her. I learned so much doing it.

Great quilt, I love it. My daughter would love it and then want to go on a shopping expedition to find the shoes.

Nice work. I love shoes but can't wear pretty ones because of a bad foot and planter facciitis. Red is my favorite but out of the question for me. The quilt is beautiful.

Oh, wow, just found out I had a new "grandchild" spun off of my original Head over Heels! quilt!! It is so much fun for me to see what someone else has done with my fabric!! I love the unique choice for the borders and binding!! Good job, M and lucky Jaimie
