    Default Janet's Violets

I just finished some simple quilting on this lap-sized sampler quilt. I made the top some time ago.

My buddy George needed to inspect the finished product. Now, George is not my quilting helper when I am inside. He has always been my gardening helper outside, so I probably confused him with bringing a quilt out to the grass.

This will be given to my lovely, lady-like Aunt Janet who has not gone a day in the past 60 years without wearing lavender, periwinkle, or other shades of purple. I think she'll like it!

Beautiful quilt, she will love it. I have a cat just like yours, his name is Herbie, I took him in when he was about 6 weeks, he discovered the food bowl and hasn't lost it yet, he is going to be 12 in Oct.

If George approves, so do I. Purples, blues and greens, you can't beat that color combination
