No snow here in Florida, but it was cold today! 54 degrees! Aren't we sissies?! I've been watching the storms everywhere else. Stay safe and warm everyone!

If you help me clean you can play in my stash. Bring sunglasses. You can probably imagine what my stash looks like! Very bright! Besides, you'll need those glasses while you're lounging by the pool.

Pool? You have a POOL?? Why didn't you say so? 54 degrees is almost warm enough to get in and would probably feel hot after it being 17 today with a minus wind chill.....I'll be right there...Get out the sunscreen and the margaritas -- I'll bring FABRIC!

I'm doing a happy dance, can't you tell - I got my quilt from Ellis's Granny B - what a beautiful quilt! It is red, white and blue, the colors of the US flag, with gold quilted stars, small gold button stars and red and white stars in teh fabric strips too. I just LOVE it! Barb wrapped everything in pretty sparkly paper - there are sparkles all over :). There is also beautiful hand made note cards with the picture of the quilt on the front - thank you; a little fabric kleenex holder with a gold butterfly on the flap and a bag of Hershies Kisses to enjoy. You are very, very talented Barb. Did I say how much I love it? I do, I do, I do :)

I was sweating bullets becasue it took s-o-o-olong for the package to arrive. When I mailed my December doll quilt the recipient never ackowledged getting it and I was disappointed. You are so welcome, Overlander.

You must have had one of those that received and didn't give. Did you try PM'ing the person to see if they would answer? It's not right to not participate fully. And here I talk, I still have my Feb doll quilt to do yet.....

I like your little quilt!!! I'm amazed at all the different quilts everyone does. They are all so great!!!

My partner took a picture, but I know she is pretty busy so I hope it is ok with her if I post a picture of the quilt that I made for her.
Since we are both from Michigan, I decided to make a quilt showing something from the city I live in. This is the historic Cascades Falls. It is a man made colored water fall built in 1930. The colors continually change and it really is very beautiful. Several times during the year they put on fireworks displays, hence the background at the top. In the winter this is the place where families take their kids sledding. The backing represents both Gramer’s and Gilberts Candy Shops, how lucky we are to have two of the oldest candy shops in Jackson.
If you'd like to see the real thing.

30 sec quick video on Youtube:

This one is a little longer, but you get the whole picture.
