    Here is my January wall hanging using Kim Schaefer's calendar quilt pattern:

    I am not wild about his mouth, but what cha goin' ta do? It is what it is. I also made the snowman part separate with an extra layer of batting, but you can't really tell. I wouldn't waste my time doing that again. Live and learn. Thanks for looking at my calender quilts!

    Oh I think it's adorable! I have that set of patterns too!

    The key to using an extra bit of batting is to use a low loft in the body and higherloft in the area you want to be poofy. If you just use the same..it won't stand out very well. I learned that the hard way as well.
