This is a terrific little piece of work! You did well to pull it out and finish it out! I love the Asian look, and just think it is wonderful. I am adding Sashiko quilting to a quilt I slammed together this winter- I like hand stitching while the TV is on, and I am somewhat more conversational with hubby that way. (vs at the machine all the time) Anyway - you deserve kudos for finishing this toughie, and we want to see it when you are done with the quilting. Thanks for sharing!

It came out great! I have the pattern, but haven't made it yet. Thanks for the heads up!

I can understand how you feel about it...but honestly I think it's beautiful. The kimonos are gorgeous and well done for making up your mind to complete it. I need to get off here so I can work on the "wretched doona cover" it's been languishing for weeks, but as it isn't a quilt I just can't get enthused.

I for one do really like it, you have done a great job good on you for finishing it. I have lots of unfinished items to, so maybe I should do what you have done and just finish them.

It is wonderful, I am so glad you finished it, and didn't throw it out. Love the pattern too. Great job.
