I know some of you were interested in this pattern and didn't know what website I found it on but did find the pattern for you. I thought it was from the book "Best Quilts of Japan." It's a Sheila DeRose design. I do remember reading that the quilt was made from antique kimonos. Here's a picture of that quilt and also the pattern can be found @ http://www.bebejapanese-textiles.com...dex&cPath=8_26 for those of you who are interested.

No, I did not make this quilt yet. I fell in love with it and posted a picture of it on another thread. Some were interested in the pattern. I was planning on doing my own interpretation of this quilt by simulating the fabrics and adapting my own pattern. I may do this in 4" size, a little mini, but using American fabrics merged to create the look of the Ogi fans.

I love this pattern too and it works well for anyone who wants to showcase a collection of fabrics. It would work well for the "right" collection of 30's fabrics in a mini size that would be charming! I love those fabrics used in this quilt and have even thought of handpainting(yikes) to get the look I wanted! haha. Trouble is I have lots of ideas and not enough time!! If I don't make it, I'll post my pattern for everyone and if I do make it, I will post my pattern for everyone and you could enlarge it to the size you want. If I make this one, I will definitely share with all of you! Thank you SulaBug for the encouragement!!!
