Just a few more pictures.

the border quilting of jars

this quilt is actually reversible. I used the left over floral blocks from the quilt above to make a back.

I love the quilting design in the border of the jar quilt. How clever!!!

I was going to make my DH a jar quilt and had collected quite a few food fabrics. But then I decided to just cut them into squares and sash them with a 1" back sashing. It's ready to be quilted now and I love it. I may "steal" your idea of putting flatware into the border design. :lol:

Thank you, I actually trace plastic silverware so they were the right dimensions. I tried just drawing them, and they didn't look right.

What a neat jar quilt..it's canning time and you did a great job!! Just like canned foods this quilt will bring lots of comfort when the winter winds blow. Love the bright colors in your reversible one too..thanks for sharing!! crafty_linda_b

The jar quilt is just too fun. I love the spoons in the quilting. What fun you must have had collecting all those fabrics.

The other quilt is so pretty too
