Default Jared Takes a Wife

Here is Bonnie Hunter's Jared Takes a Wife. I love this pattern, and I love this scrappy look. It will be a gift to my daughter's dearest friend whom I've known and loved for thirty years.

That's lovely and I love your fabric selection. So much I'm going to link this to a friend because she's looking for her next project -- and I think this is it!

I love your quilt!! The colors are just my colors. Bonnie Hunter has fabulous patterns - some are way to scrappy for this OCD person but this one is right down my alley. Thanks so much.

I've never understood how this quilt got the name it has, but it is certainly a beautiful pattern, and the colors you used are great! Your friend will be thrilled, I'm sure.

Thanks, Granky. Bonnie explained that she made it first as a wedding gift for her church choir director who, I assume, was named Jared. The block is the traditional Blackford's Beauty.
