A friend digitized the highlight and placement line for me, from a tracing I made, so I could embroider it. The highlight is a filled stitch she digitized for my embroidery machine. I completed the jellybeans as stated above. I hooped a stabilizer, ran the placement line. Used Elmer glue stick and placed jellybean in placement line then ran the highlight stitch. Carefully tore the highlight off and used the same stabilizer 5 or 6 times just by moving design on screen.
Idid not want to do raw edge Applique as I know it will be washed often. I tried facing and turning like I did jellybeans, but that was a joke.

Thanks everyone for well healing wishes. I dread therapy afterwards but I want use of my arm again for this craft we all love so much!

Very cute quilt! It will be wonderful once quilted. My grandson's first birthday is today. They grow too fast, don't they?

I admit I used someone else idea. I saw a picture and since I had the yellow fabric, which they also used, I went from there. Theirs looked like it was blocks and sashing but since blocks and sashing were all the same fabric, I just spaced them out on a whole piece about 42x54. I googled jellybeans and found a pack of candy. I liked the shape so I enlarged the picture and traced it directly from my monitor since my printer didn’t work.
