I just finished my first jelly roll top, I really like yours with the border and the quilting design.

    Very nice!

I felt adventurous this afternoon and did one too. Will do a few things differently on my next one. Sure was nice being done with a top so quickly.

Sweet. The quilting really works well with the design of the fabrics.

Love your jelly roll race quilt. Wondering how long it took to make the jelly roll portion and how many fabrics were in your jelly roll.
Took me 45 min. to sew the strips on the one I just completed. It was a small jelly roll from Tuesday Morning. It was black & white and only had 4 fabrics. Next time I will be certain there is more variety in the fabrics. Some of mine has the same fabric touching another strip of the same design.

It's fabulous! Yes, you should try it... I'm in the midst of my second one & they're fast (not as fast as they lead you to believe but fast nevertheless) & fun! And look at how cool they turn out?
