Quote: Beautiful rug. I’ve always read it is not easy to keep them flat when making one. Are there any tips you could give on this? I would love to make one. You did such a nice job.

Thanks all!

Tips...sew on a flat, flush with the machine surface . I used a stiletto to ease the outer strip as I sewed around the curves on each end. By the time I had sewn about 6-7 complete rounds it got easier. Steam ironing heps.

there is a great video that offers tips to make this rug. On You Tube...Jordan Quilts Jelly Roll Rug..... About 20 minutes long. I watched it twice.

pretty easy project. Have fun!

Anyone have ideas on how to obtain a flat surface when sewing in a class? Machines are on a table and was wondering if a box taped to the table would work.

Sandygirl, Can you give us the web address for the You Tube. I typed in Jordan Quilts Jelly Roll, and it gave me quite a few you tube videos. Thanks.
