Did the directions scan completely? It looks like maybe a part on the bottom of each page is missing.

Also, what is the size of the finished tote?

The tote is 13" h x 13" w x 5" open area. You could easily make it smaller, just cut off ends you don't want. On the scan of directions, page 1, just one word was left off and didn't change the meaning, last sentence read "Match up and sew a zig-zag seam."

Did you cut your 2 1/2" strips in half, looks smaller than that. It is very nice and heavy that is for sure. I know the people that I quilt with end up taking there house with them so it has to be very well made.
