what type of stitch did you use on the first rug...the zigzag doesn't look like a regular zigzag....also, did you use a serpentine stitch on the fabric and batting in making the "cording"? I love that idea, if you did.

Those are lovely. When I see these finished rugs it always makes me want to try to make one but (knowing me) I will probably not make one but just drool over those that I see here. TFS

I did not use a jellyroll to make either of these. I cut my own 2.5" strips. Would be a great way to use up scraps. The pattern I use is rj designs. Great pattern, easy to follow. They are a lot of fun to make.
